This week’s game of the week is an AFC North showdown between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens. They are Nos. 1 and 2 in the AFC North and both are among the top teams in the conference.
Pittsburgh has a better record and is coming off of a huge win over the Washington Commanders but this doesn’t see to carry much weight with the pundits. We checked in with NFL Pick Watch to see which way the experts were leaning. We honestly expected this one to be a pick ’em game with a fairly even split in the picks.
Instead, we found that the vast majority of the pundits expect the Ravens to come into Pittsburgh and beat the Steelers. In fact, 74 percent of their aggregate picks are taking the Ravens.
This is despite the fact that Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is 1-3 versus the Steelers as a starting quarterback in his career. If you want to make the case that Jackson is playing better, the counter is, and so are the Steelers’ offense and defense.
