2025 5-star OT out of Mesquite (TX) will visit Texas A&M this weekend

2025 5-star offensive tackle and Missouri commit Lamont Rogers will visit Texas A&M this weekend

Texas A&M’s 2025 recruiting class is near completion, with National Signing Day set for Dec. 4, as head coach Mike Elko and his staff will host a very long list of 2025, 2026, and 2027 prospects for the last two home games, including Saturday night’s matchup vs. New Mexico State.

For Saturday’s game, it has been reported that 2025 5-star offensive tackle and Missouri commit Lamont Rogers will make his way back to College Station after taking an unofficial visit during the Aggies’ season-opening loss to Notre Dame. The elite big man has received several predictions to flip his commitment to Texas A&M.

Rogers is one of the more athletic blockers with substantial size, standing at nearly 6-6.5 and 311 pounds. He is already thriving as a run-blocker. At the same time, his pass protection skill set is a work in progress, though his use of leverage is above average.

According to 247Sports Composite, Rogers is currently positioned as the 32nd-ranked prospect in the 2025 class, the 5th-ranked offensive tackle, and the 8th-ranked prospect in Texas.
