2026 5-star WR out of Hattiesburg (MS) will visit Texas A&M this weekend

2026 5-star WR Tristen Keys will reportedly visit Texas A&M this weekend

Texas A&M’s 2026 recruiting class will again have a chance to expand this weekend amid the Aggies’ Week 12 home matchup vs. New Mexico State. This week, it was announced that one of the elite prospects in the 2026 cycle will make his way to College Station for the second time this season.

According to Rivals’ Landyn Rosow, 2026 5-star wide receiver Tristen Keys will make his way back to College Station for his second unofficial visit since his first visit during the Aggie’s thrilling 38-23 win over LSU, which directly resulted in landing four commitments in the 2026 cycle just a day after the game.

Needing to land an elite wide receiver prospect to match with the incoming talent on defense, Keys, a Mississippi State native, is receiving heavy interest from every blue-blood program in the country and is a favorite to land with Tennessee after two consecutive visits. However, the Aggies are clearly in play.

After his last visit during the LSU win, Keys reflected on his time in Aggieland with Gigem247’s Andrew Hattersley:

“They left a good impression. I had fun. It was great. The coaches were great. I had a good conversation with them. We kind of talked about what they’re doing to the program and they’re doing a good job,” Keys stated. “They have a winning season this year. Coach (Holmon) Wiggins is doing a great job. He has a great background drafting top receivers, and that’s a good coach. That’s a good coach to be coached by when you’re trying to make it to the next level.”

According to 247Sports, Keys is currently positioned as the 4th-ranked prospect in the 2026 class, the No. 1-ranked wide receiver, and the No. 1-ranked prospect in Mississippi.

No. 15 Texas A&M will host New Mexico State on Saturday, Nov. 16. The game will air on SEC Network at 6:45 p.m. CT.
