Patrick Mahomes rolled his ankle while throwing a touchdown pass in Monday night’s victory for the Kansas City Chiefs over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He remained in the game but there was concern.

All signs point to Mahomes being a go on Sunday when the Super Bowl champs host the Denver Broncos in a clash of AFC West teams.

He wasn’t limited in practice on Wednesday and coach Andy Reid doesn’t see the ankle as a problem.
Chiefs quarterback depth chart
Mahomes is the starter and no one else is close to him on the depth chart. If he isn’t able to go at any point or misses any time, the backup would be former Philadelphia Eagle Carson Wents.
