Tennessee (7-1, 4-1 SEC) is projected to play in the College Football Playoff.

The Vols are also ranked No. 6 in the US LBM Coaches Poll and No. 7 in the AP Poll in Week 11.

Tennessee has four games remaining in the regular-season. The Vols will play Mississippi State on Saturday at Neyland Stadium before playing at Georgia in Week 12, hosting UTEP in Week 13 and concluding regular-season play at Vanderbilt on Nov. 30.

Tennessee’s projected CFP opponent

The Vols are projected as a No. 8 seed. Tennessee is also projected to host No. 9 seed Indiana in the first-round of the College Football Playoff at Neyland Stadium.

For the first time, there will be 12 teams participating in the College Football Playoff. There are five automatic bids for each of the Power Four conference champions and one to the highest-ranked Group of Five champion. The remaining seven slots are given to seven at-large teams.
