The Jaguars added two players and let another two go from their practice squad Tuesday, signing offensive lineman Dennis Daley and long snapper Peter Bowden and releasing linebacker Tanner Muse and running back Jake Funk from the unit.
A 2019 sixth-round NFL draft pick by the Carolina Panthers who has since played with the Tennessee Titans and Arizona Cardinals, Daley has appeared in 55 games and made 37 starts, 28 at tackle and nine at guard, over six seasons.
Bowden signed with the Green Bay Packers as an undrafted free agent out of Wisconsin this offseason and was waived during the preseason. He made 39 appearances with the Badgers in college.
Muse signed with Jacksonville’s practice squad in August after spending the preseason with the team. He was elevated to the active roster for three games and recorded one assisted special teams tackle against the Indianapolis Colts.
Funk joined the Jaguars’ practice squad on Oct. 1, was released from the unit last Tuesday and ultimately brought back on Wednesday. He was promoted to Jacksonville’s active roster in Weeks 7-8 but did not appear in either game.
