As expected, the Los Angeles Rams officially activated Joe Noteboom from injured reserve on Tuesday. This was their final week to activate him after he had his 21-day practice window opened on Oct. 16.
Sean McVay said Monday that he’s unsure whether Noteboom or Warren McClendon Jr. will start at right tackle with Rob Havenstein out, but at the very least, the Rams have some much-needed depth along the offensive line.
Noteboom has been out since injuring his ankle in Week 1, needing to be carted to the locker room during the Rams’ loss to the Lions. In that game, he was the starting left tackle, filling in for the suspended Alaric Jackson.
In addition to activating Noteboom, the Rams made two other roster moves. They cut punter Ryan Sanborn and defensive end Jonah Williams from the practice squad, opening up two more spots.
