What to know from Indianapolis Colts Thursday injury report vs Vikings

Let’s take a closer look at the Indianapolis Colts Thursday injury report with what you need to know ahead of their matchup with the Vikings.

The Indianapolis Colts held their second practice of the week on Thursday as they prepare for their primetime matchup with the Minnesota Vikings.

Let’s take a look at what you need to know.

– As we discussed on Wednesday’s injury report recap, while Josh Downs, Ryan Kelly, Michael Pittman, and Braden Smith all did not practice, all four players returned on Thursday and were full participants. The last few weeks, this has been the norm for each player.

– Bernhard Raimann remains sidelined and in concussion protocol. He did not practice. If he can’t go, I would guess we see rookie Matt Goncalves get the start against a very aggressive and blitz-heavy Vikings defense.

– Genard Avery and Anthony Richardson were full participants for the second day. Both players should be available on Sunday if needed.

– Popping up on the injury report was Kwity Paye. He was limited with a hamstring injury. This will be important to watch for the remainder of the week. Without Paye for a few games this season, the defensive end depth took a hit and the unit would struggle.

– Chris Lammons was added to the injury report as well after not being listed on Thursday but he was a full participant.
