UCLA rolls by Cal State LA in tune-up game

The Bruins had no issues here.

The UCLA Bruins men’s basketball team had an exhibition game against Cal State Los Angeles on Wednesday night at Pauley Pavilion.

It was a good chance for Mick Cronin to tinker with lineups, especially with all of the new faces in Westwood this season.

UCLA got the easy win, 100-64, as Oregon State transfer Tyler Biloedeau led the way with 24 points in an impressive debut.

It is no surprise to see Bilodeau play well, and Cronin spoke about his output after the game.

“As you can see, Tyler Bilodeau can score. He can score at Oregon State and he can score here.”

UCLA is expected to be a major factor in the Big Ten Conference and they are No. 22 to begin the season in the polls. They start the regular season on Monday night at home against Rider and then play New Mexico in Las Vegas before a stretch of Boston, Lehigh, Idaho State, Cal State Fullerton, and Southern Utah.
