The Dolphins eat way more Uncrustables than most NFL teams

The Dolphins are mowing through Uncrustables.

The Miami Dolphins love to eat Uncrustables.

According to data inexplicably curated by The Athletic, only a few teams eat more of the pre-made and sealed peanut butter and jelly sandwiches than the Dolphins. While the Denver Broncos pace the field with a ridiculous 700 Uncrustables per week, the Dolphins’ 300 per week are still well above the league average.

A quarter of the NFL’s teams didn’t participate in the survey, so the data could be skewed. But the 24 franchises that did averaged about 176 Uncrustables per week. The Dolphins nearly doubled that rate.

While catching up to the Broncos is probably not the best idea, if Miami bumps up its Uncrustables consumption just a bit, the Dolphins could pass the Jacksonville Jaguars and Seattle Seahawks for second.

In February, the NFLPA released a report card that showed the Dolphins were voted the best employer in the NFL by players. Among the team’s high marks was an “A” grade in food/cafeteria and nutritionist/dietician.
