Indianapolis Colts vs Texans: Houston with 2 players out, one questionable

The Texans have two players out and one questionable for their matchup on Sunday with the Indianapolis Colts.

For Sunday’s game against the Houston Texans, the Indianapolis Colts have two players ruled out and two more who are questionable.

One of the two players who are questionable is defensive tackle DeForest Buckner, while we already know that Jonathan Taylor will be playing. For more on the Colts’ final injury report, click here.

But what about Houston’s injury report? Following the team’s final practice on Friday, the Texans ruled two players out and another questionable.

Here is what you need to know:

Out – LB Azeez Al-Shaair (knee): Al-Shaair would miss last week’s game against Green Bay as well. He is one of Houston’s starting linebackers and in his career has stood out as a tackler and run defender. Al-Shaair is second on the team in tackles and has been a productive blitzer with 13 pressures–the second-most on the team.

Questionable – LB Henry To’oto’o (concussion): Along with Al-Shaair, To’oto’o is Houston’s other starting linebacker. He leads the defense in tackles and has limited pass catchers to just 7.3 yards per catch. His 13 run-stops are tied for the 14th most at the linebacker position, according to PFF.

Out – S Jimmie Ward (groin): This will be the third game that Ward has missed. Houston moves him around the secondary quite a bit, with Ward seeing his share of snaps deep, in the box, and in the slot. He has one pass breakup in coverage and has made 16 total tackles–with no misses–in four games this season.
