Commanders vs. Bears injury report: No Jayden Daniels on Wednesday

The first injury report for Week 8 is out. No Jayden Daniels for the Commanders.

The Washington Commanders (5-2) released their first injury report of the week on Wednesday ahead of their Week 8 showdown with the Chicago Bears (4-2). Unsurprisingly, rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels did not practice for Washington.

Head coach Dan Quinn spoke to the media ahead of Wednesday’s practice and said Daniels would not practice and he would have a further update on the rookie quarterback on Friday.

“He won’t practice today,” Quinn said. “He’ll continue to do all the meetings and our individual stuff to go through that, but he’ll get the treatment today. Then he’ll continue to progress through today and tomorrow, and I’ll update you guys after Friday’s practice, and we’ll go from there.”

As for the rest of Washington’s roster, only rookie left tackle Brandon Coleman missed practice. Coleman suffered a concussion in Sunday’s win over the Panthers.
