According to a report by NFL insider Ian Rapoport on Wednesday morning, the Kansas City Chiefs are trading with the Tennessee Titans for veteran wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins.
With the loss of wide receivers Rashee Rice and Marquise ‘Hollywood’ Brown this season, the Chiefs have been in search of a replacement and it appears help is on the way.
Hopkins, a former first-round pick in 2013, is widely regarded as one of the most dynamic and reliable receivers in the NFL, even if he may have lost a bit of his explosive edge over the years.
Having spent time with the Houston Texans, Arizona Cardinals, and Titans, the veteran will bring much-needed experience to Kansas City’s young receiving corps.

It is still unknown if the former Clemson star will see the field this Sunday when the Chiefs face the Las Vegas Raiders, but expect the talented receiver have a significant impact this season as Kansas City chases its third-straight Super Bowl victory.
