The NASCAR Cup Series entered Las Vegas Motor Speedway for the first race in the Round of 8, and one playoff driver has a ticket to Phoenix Raceway. On Sunday, Joey Logano won the South Point 400 at Las Vegas for his third victory of the year. Logano was able to hold off a dominant Christopher Bell after not pitting on the final green-flag run.
Initially, Logano was the last driver in the playoff picture; however, that changed as he clinched a spot in Phoenix. Homestead-Miami Speedway is next on the schedule, and with a spot in the Championship 4 on the line, the intensity is through the roof. Below, we look at the current standings.
