The Alabama Crimson Tide fell to the Tennessee Volunteers, 24-17, in an ugly loss at Neyland Stadium on Saturday — the second loss in three weeks for coach Kalen DeBoer’s team.
As a result, the Crimson Tide (5-2 overall, 2-2 SEC) dropped eight spots and fell to No. 15 in the new Week 8 US LBM Coaches Poll, released Sunday. Alabama’s drop was the biggest for any ranked team in the Coaches Poll this week.
Jalen Milroe, Ryan Williams and the Crimson Tide are ranked one spot below the Texas A&M Aggies at No. 14 and one spot ahead of the Kansas State Wildcats at No. 16.
