Michigan football gets a commit from a rising 2026 wide receiver

Michigan football is nearly done with the 2025 class and is now turning its attention to 2026. The Wolverines already have a big fish committed in 2026 Cocoa (Fla.) four-star quarterback Brady Hart, as well as Jacksonville (Fla.) Mandarin three-star cornerback Brody Jennings. And now the maize and blue are looking to add another.

Hailing from Dallas (Tx.) Parish Episcopal School, Jaylen Pile is a three-star wide receiver who has a long list of solid offers. Arizona, Arkansas, Auburn, Florida State, Illinois, Mississippi State, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Oregon, Tennessee, Utah, Washington, and Wisconsin are among his suitors. However, he shut down his recruitment, having committed to Michigan football.

A Virginia Tech legacy, Pile also runs track and ran a 11.95 100-meter dash. He’s listed 6-foot, 175-pounds. In 2023, Pile had 16 receptions for 427 yards and five touchdowns.
