Packers upgrade 2 players on updated Thursday injury report

Left tackle Elgton Jenkins and defensive lineman Colby Wooden returned to practice on Thursday.

The Green Bay Packers made two upgrades on the updated injury report on Thursday. Returning to practice were left guard Elgton Jenkins and defensive lineman Colby Wooden, who both missed practice on Wednesday.

The only player who didn’t practice for Matt LaFleur’s team on Thursday was defensive lineman Devonte Wyatt, who has missed two straight games. LaFleur said Wyatt is improving, but missing back-to-back practices suggests Wyatt will be out for Sunday against the Houston Texans.

Receivers Dontayvion Wicks (shoulder) and Jayden Reed (ankle) both got in a limited practice for the second straight day. Both are coming off injuries suffered in last Sunday’s win over the Arizona Cardinals.

The Texans made one change, upgrading left tackle Laremy Tunsil from limited to full participation on Thursday. However, the Texans were without linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair, defensive lineman Folorunson Fatukasi, cornerback Kamari Lassiter, linebacker Henry To’oTo’o, safety Jimmie Ward and receiver Robert Woods for the second consecutive day.

The Packers and Texans will provide a final injury report with playing status designations on Friday afternoon.
