Although the Green Bay Packers and Houston Texans aren’t playing a standalone primetime game in Week 7, a big chunk of the country will have an opportunity to watch two of the ascending teams and best young quarterbacks in the NFL battle on Sunday at Lambeau Field.

If you’re in the western two-thirds of the country, there’s a good chance you’ll get Packers-Texans. If you’re on the East Coast, you’re probably out of luck.

Unfortunately, there are viewing conflicts. Early games featuring the Titans vs. Bills and Bengals vs. Browns will take up a chunk of major broadcast areas, and late CBS games featuring the Panthers vs. Commanders and Raider vs. Rams takes up another decent chunk.

FOX gets the doubleheader in Week 7 and is showcasing 49ers vs. Chiefs in the late timeslot, so the Minneapolis market — and several others — doesn’t get an early CBS game.

However, many markets, including Chicago, Kansas City, Denver, Dallas, Houston, Phoenix, New Orleans, San Francisco and Miami will get Packers vs. Texans.

Jim Nantz and Tony Romo — the top CBS team — will call Packers vs. Texans.

The Texans are 5-1 and leading the AFC South. The Packers are 4-2 and fighting in a historically great NFC North. Both teams were trendy Super Bowl picks entering the 2024 season.

Jordan Love’s Packers are scheduled to kick off against C.J. Stroud’s Texans at noon CT from Lambeau Field on Sunday.
