Tennessee offered a scholarship to 2027 in-state athlete Jaden Butler.
“I am blessed and very excited to receive an offer from the University of Tennessee,” Butler said.
The 6-foot, 165-pound athlete is from Haywood High School in Brownsville, Tennessee. He plays wide receiver and defensive back.
There are not recruiting rankings currently for Butler from Rivals, 247Sports, On3 or ESPN.
The Vols are the fifth Southeastern Conference school to offer a scholarship to Butler. All but one of his scholarship offers are from a Power Four school.
Butler has scholarship offers from Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Mississippi State, Kentucky, Arkansas and Memphis.
Mississippi State was the first school to offer a scholarship to Butler on Sept. 22.
