Kentucky flips a 2025 defensive back previously committed to Missouri

Class of 2025 safety Dyllon Williams decommitted from Missouri, and will join Kentucky football.

Kentucky football is coming off a bad loss to Vanderbilt, but that isn’t preventing them from having recruiting successes. On Monday, the Wildcats got a commitment from Dyllon Williams, who had previously committed to the Missouri Tigers.

Williams is a 6’2″, 180 lb safety out of Alabama. He’s rated three stars, and he is the number 724 overall player in the 2024 class according to the 247sports composite rankings. He’s the number 61 safety in the class.

A number of teams had offered Williams, including Cincinnati, Ole Miss, and Central Florida. However, it was Missouri that he committed to back in June. Then, in September, he took a visit to Kentucky, and wound up decommitting from the Tigers on October 10th.

Four days after leaving Missouri, Williams has chosen the Wildcats. He is the 19th player in the 2025 class to commit to Mark Stoops and company, and joins a class that is ranked inside the top 25.
