Penn State’s offense has gone through quite the transformation under new offensive coordinator Andy Kotelnicki. The best examples of that have been the unique formations and creative use of tight end [autotag]Tyler Warren[/autotag]. Warren has lined up all over the formation, including wide receiver, running back, fullback, and even quarterback.
The different formations and positions they can use Warren in have produced some of the season’s best plays so far, and he just pulled off maybe his wildest play yet.

If you couldn’t tell by the clip, Warren not only caught the touchdown after the backward pass from Beau Pribula to Drew Allar, but he even snapped the ball to start the play. Talk about doing it all by yourself.
Penn State desperately needed a spark after a dreadful first half where the offense scored just six points. The defense meanwhile was gashed repeatedly on the ground, giving up a season-high 144 yards in just the first half.
Now that Penn State’s offense has some momentum, the defense needs to figure things out to try and turn this game around before it’s too late. [autotag]James Franklin[/autotag]’s team can’t afford an upset loss like this now that they have a clear path to a playoff berth.
