Deion Sanders appears on ‘College GameDay’ ahead of matchup with K-State

Coach Prime appeared on “College GameDay” this morning to discuss tonight’s matchup with K-State

Ahead of his Buffaloes’ late-night matchup with Kansas State, Colorado football head coach Deion Sanders appeared on ESPN’s “College GameDay” Saturday morning.

Coach Prime discussed his team’s recent surge, what he expects from Colorado in Week 7, his relationship with cornerback/wide receiver Travis Hunter and more while fielding questions from the crew.

ESPN analyst Kirk Herbstreit asked Sanders about how Colorado will be tasked with matching Kansas State’s physicality:

“The physicality in this game will be phenomenal,” Sanders said. “You got two teams that’s kind of a match. I like to think we have some tremendous playmakers, but this team (K-State) is well-coached, they don’t make a lot of mistakes, they’re not penalized a lot. We’re going to have to beat them. They’re not going to give us the game by any means.”

Later in the show, “College GameDay” analysts Desmond Howard, Nick Saban, Pat McAfee, Herbstreit and guest picker Kaitlin Olson all picked Colorado to beat Kansas State.

Kickoff at Folsom Field between the Buffs and Wildcats is set for 8:15 p.m. MT on ESPN.
