It is truly flip season in college football, and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish are right in the thick of it.
Some of the flips have gone their way, while others haven’t, but that hasn’t stopped Marcus Freeman from trying to assemble the best class he possibly can in the 2025 cycle.
One of those flip targets is Florida defensive line commit [autotag]Jalen Wiggins[/autotag]. The 6-foot, 4-inch and 225-pounder is ranked as the nation’s No. 94 overall prospect according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings has scheduled an official visit to South Bend when the Irish host Florida State according to a report by Tom Loy.
While Notre Dame does currently have five commits on the defensive line, none of them have the pedigree that Wiggins has. Getting an elite talent at the position goes a long way to impacting a game, and the Irish will do everything in their power to complete the flip.
