Narrowing down his list of 39 offers to just six had to have been one of the toughest decisions of three-star offensive lineman Peter Langi’s life. The 6-foot-5, 330-pound prospect announced his final six schools on Friday night, including coach Jedd Fisch’s Washington Huskies alongside Arizona, Auburn, Penn State, Texas, and Texas A&M.
Langi, who plays for Archbishop Riordan High School in San Francisco, California, alongside four-star wide receiver and Washington commit Chris Lawson, was scheduled to take his official visit to Seattle for the Huskies’ 27-17 win over No. 10 Michigan but was unable to make the trip.
According to 247Sports’ Brandon Huffman, Langi suffered a minor injury the night before he was scheduled to leave for Seattle. He has already rescheduled his trip for November 15, when the Huskies are set to play UCLA on Friday night.
The coveted lineman may hold off on making a decision for a while since he’s not set to enroll until June, which could lead to him taking more official visits in December. Right now, his recruitment looks to be a two-horse race between Fisch and offensive coordinator Brennan Carroll’s last two stops, Washington and Arizona.
Langi took his official visit to Tucson in June, where his younger brother, three-star offensive lineman Michael Langi, is committed to coach Brent Brennan’s 2026 class.
