Class of 2026 3-star QB visiting UCLA for Minnesota game

A big visit for UCLA.

The UCLA Bruins are taking on the Minnesota Golden Gophers in a Big Ten Conference game in Week 7 at the Rose Bowl.

While the season has gotten off to a disappointing start for UCLA, the Bruins are still working hard to land recruits and host players for visits.

On Saturday, UCLA is getting a visit from 3-star quarterback Oscar Rios, who was previously committed to fellow Big Ten program Purdue, as Adam Gorney of Rivals mentions.

“Former Purdue QB commit Oscar Rios, a 2026 high three-star from Downey, Calif., will visit UCLA this weekend,” Gorney wrote.

Rios plays high school football in Downey, California, and has received interest from a number of programs, including Auburn, Michigan State, Nebraska, Oregon State, and Utah, among plenty of others.

Rios just decommitted from Purdue at the beginning of October, and him visiting UCLA is a good sign for the Bruins.
