Commanders injury report: 3 miss practice on Thursday

Brian Robinson did not practice, but some positive news regarding DE Clelin Ferrell.

The Washington Commanders continued preparations for their Week 6 game against the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday without three players.

Starting running back Brian Robinson Jr. missed his second consecutive day of practice due to a knee injury. It was the same last week for Robinson, who missed Wednesday and Thursday but did play in Sunday’s game. Barring the injury worsening, that’s likely the plan for Robinson on Sunday in Baltimore.

Rookie safety Tyler Owens missed practice again, while defensive tackle Phidarian Mathis was out due to an illness.

Clelin Ferrell, who has missed the last three games, was limited. That’s a promising sign toward his return. Head coach Dan Quinn seemed optimistic about Ferrell last week.

Here’s the Commanders’ Thursday injury report for Week 6:

Did not participate: RB Brian Robinson Jr. (knee),  S Tyler Owens (shin), DT Phidarian Mathis

Limited participants: LG Nick Allegretti (ankle), WR Noah Brown (groin), S Percy Butler (groin), S Quan Martin (neck), DE Clelin Ferrell (knee)

Full participants: CB Emmanuel Forbes (thumb), LB Jordan Magee (knee), DE Efe Obada (tibia, fibula), OLB Dante Fowler Jr. (illness), RB Austin Ekeler (heel)

We’ll update Baltimore’s full injury report once it’s released.
