Class of 2027 quarterback returning for visit in November

Quarterback Trae Taylor will be back to visit Nebraska next month.

Class of 2027 quarterback Trae Taylor will be back in Lincoln for the November 23 game against the Wisconsin Badgers. Rivals.com’s Greg Smith reported the news.

Taylor was in town this past weekend for Nebraska’s 14-7 win over Rutgers. The quarterback liked what he saw from the program. He also indicated he was impressed with the job the coaching staff has done in developing quarterback Dylan Raiola.

Taylor is not ranked in the 247Sports Composite Rankings. However, he does have a lengthy offer sheet that is continuing to grow. Colorado, Illinois, and Indiana are some of the schools that have offered him so far. He has 29 offers in total.

Taylor is having a solid season for Carmel High School. He has 1,352 passing yards, 11 touchdowns, and six interceptions on the year. He is averaging 272.4 passing yards per game on the year, per statistics from MaxPreps.

The Huskers have made him a priority quarterback target. The fact that he is coming back for the Wisconsin game is encouraging. He was offered by the program on Saturday, and it looks like they are moving fast with his recruitment
