What to know from Packers’ first injury report of Week 6 vs. Cardinals

Things to know from the Packers’ first injury report before playing the Cardinals on Sunday.

The Green Bay Packers released the team’s first injury report of Week 6 on Wednesday. The team will release two more injury reports, including a final injury report on Friday with official playing status designations before Sunday’s showdown with the Arizona Cardinals.

Here’s everything to know from the Packers’ first injury report of Week 6:

— Quarterback Jordan Love was officially removed from the injury report for the first time since his Week 1 knee injury.

— Receiver Christian Watson (ankle), cornerback Jaire Alexander (groin), tight end Luke Musgrave (ankle) and offensive lineman Jordan Morgan (shoulder) all practiced in a limited capacity on Wednesday after missing last week’s win over the Los Angeles Rams. (Note: Musgrave was active but did not play.)

— Defensive lineman Devonte Wyatt (ankle) was the only non-participant on Wednesday. Coach Matt LaFleur said he is out of a walking boot and improving.

— Offensive tackle Zach Tom (shoulder), safety Zayne Anderson (elbow) and defensive end Arron Mosby (shoulder) were new additions to the injury report coming out of Sunday, but all three practiced in full on Wednesday.

— Offensive lineman Elgton Jenkins (knee) and defensive lineman Kenny Clark (toe) were both limited. The veterans are dealing with lingering lower-body injuries. Clark has been listed with a toe injury since Week 2.

— Cornerback Carrington Valentine (ankle) and rookie linebacker Edgerrin Cooper (hip) played through injuries last week but remain limited at practice.

— Defensive lineman Jonathan Ford (calf) was limited, but he remains designated to return from injured reserve.

— The Cardinals listed eight players on the first injury report. Offensive lineman Kelvin Beachum did not practice Wednesday. Cornerback Garrett Williams (groin) and kicker Matt Prater (knee) didn’t play last Sunday but were limited on Wednesday. Receiver Zay Jones was a full participant while returning from suspension. Rookie defensive lineman Darius Robinson was limited.
