The Dolphins have one of the easiest remaining schedules in the NFL

The Dolphins don’t have many steep hurdles in their path to get their season back on track.

The Miami Dolphins limped out to a 2-3 start to their 2024 campaign, despite facing a relatively light slate of opponents to start the year. Fortunately for the Dolphins, the rest of their schedule isn’t looking too tough either.

Miami’s first five opponents of the year have a collective record of 9-15 after Week 5. That’s a 0.375 win percentage, only slightly below the 0.405 combined win percentage of all 17 of the Dolphins’ 2024 opponents (with the Bills, Patriots, and Jets each counted twice).

No other team in the NFL has a strength of schedule below 0.434.

But sometimes wins and losses don’t quite tell the whole story. There’s a big difference between having the 3-2 Baltimore Ravens coming up on the schedule than a matchup against the 3-2 Chicago Bears or 3-2 Pittsburgh Steelers.

Power rankings also say it’s a favorable slate for the Dolphins, though.

After their Week 6 bye, the Dolphins will play the 2-3 Indianapolis Colts and 2-3 Arizona Cardinals.
