When the Pittsburgh Steelers and Las Vegas Raiders square off on Sunday, they won’t have to face wide receiver Davante Adams. ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler is reporting that despite being questionable, Adams’ hamstring injury will keep him out of the game. The Raiders will also be without star defensive tackle Christian Wilkins who was placed on IR this week.
It isn’t hard to read between the lines and see this as the Raiders’ plan to keep Adams off the field and healthy so the team can trade him before the November 5 trade deadline. Obviously this matters to the Steelers as they are one of the teams reportedly very interested in trading for Adams.

The Steelers have turned to a potential Adams trade to help solve their problems at wide receiver after being unable to trade for San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk in the offseason.
