Florida football earned its third win of the 2024 campaign last Saturday in the Swamp with a 34-23 victory over the visiting UCF Knights. The triumph gives the Gators a winning record for the first time since this season ahead of an upcoming brutal stretch of their schedule.
The Week 6 results bumped the Orange and Blue up 14 spots to No. 63 in the weekly CBS Sports re-rank of all 134 FBS schools composed by Chip Patterson. That nestles Florida between the No. 62 Coastal Carolina Chanticleers and No. 64 Northern Illinois Huskies.
The Gators are at No. 14 this week in the Southeastern Conference out of 16 member schools, with the Auburn Tigers (74) and Mississippi State Bulldogs (96) ranked lower.

After ‘Bama comes the Georgia Bulldogs, Iowa State Cyclones, Clemson Tigers and BYU Cougars, respectively, round out this week’s top 10.
