Broncos bringing back familiar face at wide receiver once again

The Broncos are bringing back wide receiver Kaden Davis.

The Denver Broncos are bringing back a familiar face … again.

Four weeks ago, the Broncos signed wide receiver Kaden Davis to their practice squad. He spent three weeks with the club before being released on Oct. 1. Denver is now signing Davis again, the receiver’s agent, Sean Stellato, informed KPRC-TV’s Aaron Wilson on Tuesday.

Davis (6-1, 190 pounds) originally entered the league as an undrafted free agent out of Northwest Missouri State with the Broncos in 2022. He did not make the team’s 53-man roster that summer, but Davis spent most of his rookie season on Denver’s practice squad.

Davis then spent the 2023 spring season playing for the USFL’s Michigan Panthers before returning to the NFL with the Arizona Cardinals. He had a stint with the Detroit Lions this summer before returning to the Broncos.

The 26-year-old wide receiver is yet to appear in a regular season game in the NFL. Denver will need to make a corresponding move to make room for Davis on the 17-player practice squad.
