Head coach Tad Boyle gained his fourth class of 2025 commitment on Monday as in-state prospect Josiah Sanders gave his pledge to the Colorado men’s program, according to On3’s Joe Tipton.
Colorado has been recruiting Sanders for some time now, offering the four-star guard (per 247Sports) in mid-April. The 6-foot-4 senior at Denver Prep Academy also holds offers from the Tennessee Volunteers, Arizona State Sun Devils, Wisconsin Badgers, Minnesota Golden Gophers and others.
Sanders told On3 that Boyle’s history of sending players to the NBA was a big factor in his decision. Former Buffs KJ Simpson, Tristan da Silva and Cody Williams were all drafted in June.
“I chose Colorado because of their track record (of) putting players in the NBA,” Sanders told On3. “At the end of the day, that’s the main goal and I feel like they can develop me and push me to get me to where I want to go.”
Sanders is the top-ranked prospect in Colorado and the No. 16 combo guard in the 2025 class, per 247Sports.
Four-star guard Jalin Holland, wing Ian Inman and point guard Isaiah Johnson represent Colorado’s other three class of 2025 commitments.
