Auburn commit Kail Singleton reclassifies to 2025 class

The four-star offensive lineman will forgo his senior year of high school to enroll at Auburn.

One Auburn football commit can not wait to join the Tigers roster.

[autotag]Kail Ellis[/autotag], a four-star offensive lineman from Cartersville, Georgia, announced Sunday that he will reclassify to Auburn’s 2025 class, forgoing his 12th-grade year at Cass High School.

Ellis committed to Auburn last November, five months after receiving an offer from Hugh Freeze and the Tigers’ coaching staff. At the time, he was Auburn’s first commitment for the 2026 class. Following his commitment, Ellis told Auburn Undercover that he feels Auburn can develop him in several important areas.

“What Coach (Hugh) Freeze, Coach (Jake) Thornton, and that staff has going on is so special and I wanted to be a part of it,” Ellis said. “I feel Auburn can develop me more than anyone, academically and as a football player.”

Ellis followed his announcement by telling Christian Clemente of Auburn Undercover that he is “ready to be a Tiger.”

Auburn’s 2025 recruiting class ranks No. 3 in the nation according to 247Sports and is filled with offensive linemen. Ellis is the sixth offensive lineman to pledge to the Tigers’ 2025 class, joining Tavaris Dice, Broderick Shull, Spencer Dowland, Tai Buster, and Jacobe Ward.
