After a crushing home loss to the Baltimore Ravens in Week 5, the Cincinnati Bengals fell to 1-4 on the year, far from where the team and fans expected to be at this point of the season. The silver lining is they remain just two games back in the AFC North with the Ravens and Steelers tied at 3-2.
Another piece of good news is the Bengals are currently in position for a high draft pick.
It’s not what Bengals fans were hoping for this early in the season, but it’s at least some kind of positivity. Through five weeks, the Bengals currently hold the No. 2 pick in the 2025 draft.
There are currently six teams sitting with a 1-4 record. Of those six, the Bengals have the second-easiest strength of schedule. Only the New England Patriots have an easier schedule, giving them the No. 1 pick after Week 5.
Here’s the top ten in the draft through Sunday Night Football.

- Los Angeles Rams 1-4
- Carolina Panthers 1-4
