New England Patriots cornerback Christian Gonzalez made an acrobatic interception, stopping a Miami Dolphins drive in its tracks in the first quarter of Sunday’s game.
The interception halted a five-play, 14-yard drive that saw the Dolphins moving down the field. Gonzalez undercut the play and recorded his first interception on the season on a Tyler Huntley throw.
The Oregon product has been matched up with some of the best wide receivers in the league, and he has held his own through the first four games of the season. That effort has continued against a loaded Dolphins offense on Sunday.

The Patriots have struggled throughout the season, but Gonzalez has been a major bright spot for a team still trying to find its identity. They will need more plays like this from Gonzalez as the offense continues to struggle.
