Auburn football’s trip to Athens did not go as planned.
The Tigers entered Saturday’s game with No. 5 Georgia searching for its first SEC win. However, their goal was not meant to be reached as they fell to the home-standing Bulldogs, 31-13 on Saturday.
Neither team committed a turnover, and each team gained over 330 yards of offense. However, Georgia created more scoring opportunities by succeeding on all four red-zone trips and converting half of their third down chances.
