Jabrill Peppers upgraded on Thursday’s injury report

The Week 5 injury report for the New England Patriots remained long on Thursday. However, there was some good news with safety Jabrill Peppers being updated from non-participant to limited in practice.

With Kyle Dugger currently sidelined with an ankle injury, the last thing the team needed was their other safety out with an injury. Cornerback Marcus Jones was also limited on the report with a groin injury.

The Patriots will host the Miami Dolphins for a divisional showdown at Gillette Stadium on Sunday.

David Andrews is already expected to miss the rest of the season with a shoulder injury. Dugger and Caedan Wallace both also remain out.

The team is in danger of being short-handed on both sides of the ball heading into the Week 5 matchup.
