Four-star SF Jasir Rencher to announce commitment on October 3

Ahead of his scheduled official visit to Seattle, four-star Jasir Rencher is set to make his commitment.

The Washington Huskies are one of five teams remaining in the hunt for four-star small forward Jasir Rencher, who is set to make his commitment on October 3. He is set to decide between LSU, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, and Washington.

Coach Danny Sprinkle has done an impressive job on the recruiting trail and has an opportunity to close on the talented prospect who he has built a strong relationship with. Rencher is also scheduled to take an official visit to Seattle over the weekend when coach Jedd Fisch and the football team battle Michigan in a rematch of January’s national championship.

“Coach Sprinkle was recruiting me over at Utah State, so we’ve built a relationship. [He’s] good at developing players,” Rencher told On3’s Joe Tipton.

The Huskies could have an inside track for his services, as the 6-foot-5, 195-pound prospect plays for Archbishop Riordan High School in California, which is also attended by four-star wide receiver Chris Lawson, who is committed to Fisch’s 2025 class.

On3’s recruiting prediction machine agrees, naming the Huskies as the favorites to secure his services, which would make him the first player to commit to Sprinkle’s 2025 class.
