Nebraska running back commit ‘shutting down’ recruitment

Conor Booth is committed to the Huskers.

Class of 2025 running back Conor Booth announced he is shutting down his recruitment in an interview with Nebraska on SI’s Caleb Sisk.

Booth committed to Nebraska on August 27, 2023. He is off to another strong start for Bishop Newman, as he has 1,192 rushing yards and 19 touchdowns. He is averaging 238.4 rushing yards per game and has 94 carries in total, according to statistics from MaxPreps.com.

Booth plans to be a dual-sport athlete in college, playing baseball as well. Although there is a bit of a buzz surrounding his recruitment, he told Sisk he plans to stay with the Huskers.

“Commitment has been great, I have a great relationship with the coaches. They have given me everything I can ask for,” Booth said. “I let my coach handle other colleges that are trying to pursue, but for me, my commitment is shut down.”

Booth is a dynamic running back who will undoubtedly add depth to Nebraska’s running backs room. His playmaking ability and big play ability certainly bode well for the future of the Nebraska running backs room. The 2025 class ranks 24th overall nationally per the 247Sports Composite Rankings.
