In a game played on a rainy night before 70,400 fans in Fayetteville, Arkansas led, 3-0, at halftime as Brennan O’Donohoe kicked a 24-yard field goal with 1 minute, 44 seconds remaining in the first quarter. The field goal represented all of the scoring in the game until the fourth quarter.

The Vols tied the game, 3-3, on a 33-yard field goal by Alex Walls with 9:44 remaining in the game. Tennessee would take the lead on a 25-yard field goal by Walls with 3:52 remaining.

Travis Stephens scored the lone touchdown of the game on a 3-yard run with 59 seconds remaining.

Stephens was Tennessee’s leading rusher, totaling 206 yards and one touchdown on 41 attempts.

Quarterback Casey Clausen completed 13-of-17 passing attempts for 136 yards. Kelley Washington recorded nine receptions for 96 yards.
