After taking down South Alabama 42-10, LSU has the bye week to get back to full health and prepare for the bulk of the SEC schedule.
The slate’s about to get tougher, and that begins with a home game against Ole Miss on Oct. 12 in Week 7. The Rebels entered the year with playoff expectations but now find their backs against the wall as they lost at home to an unranked Kentucky team on Saturday.
Though that has taken some wind out of this game’s sails, it should still be a rocking crowd at Tiger Stadium for what we now know will be a primetime ABC kickoff at 6:30 p.m. CT.

While the Tigers have the week off to prepare, the Rebels aren’t so lucky. They have another tough matchup on Saturday as they travel to face a South Carolina team that gave LSU all it could handle in Week 3.
