Kentucky receives votes in the US LBM Coaches Poll after thrilling upset

Kentucky football receives some votes in the new US LBM Coaches Poll after beating Ole Miss.

The biggest upset of the college football season thus far belongs to the Kentucky Wildcats football team, as they beat Ole Miss 20 – 17 on Saturday.

The Wildcats put together another great defensive effort, and the offense made just enough plays to get the victory. Brock Vandagriff played well, and both Dane Key and Barion Brown made some terrific plays catching the ball.

The win has earned Kentucky some respect nationally, and the new US LBM Coaches Poll has the Wildcats garnering some votes. They haven’t quite broken into the top 25, but did receive 17 votes, putting them 33rd in the rankings.
