Nebraska football beat Purdue on Saturday by a 28-10 margin. One of the primary keys of the game was the productivity in the second half on both sides of the football. This included making plays on the defensive end. Linebacker John Bullock increased Nebraska’s lead to 28-10 following a pick-six interception.
Bullock had four tackles on the afternoon, in addition to the interception. He has had a productive start to the 2024 season, recording 25 tackles and two sacks. He has been known to fly around the football, and the interception was proof of that.
The Huskers were able to make strong second-half adjustments as they picked up the victory on the road. It wasn’t the prettiest win, but it was ceundoubtedlyritty. Bullock’s play was a microcosm of a well-balanced second half, which is needed with Rutgers on the schedule next Saturday.
