Wisconsin released its injury report for Saturday’s matchup against No. 13 USC.
Several players remain out, as expected. Those include QB Tyler Van Dyke, DL James Thompson Jr. and WR Joseph Griffin Jr.

The one notable update from the injury report: standout true freshman outside linebacker Thomas Heiberger has been upgraded to ‘questionable.’ Heiberger suffered a knee injury during training camp in August and has yet to be active for a game this season.
The four-star recruit in the class of 2024 has turned heads from the moment he arrived on campus this offseason. He’s only a true freshman, but he was already competing for a spot in the team’s two-deep at outside linebacker.
Heiberger’s status will be worth monitoring as kickoff time approaches. Wisconsin badly needs a boost at the position.

On the other side, USC key defensive starter Akili Arnold is listed as ‘questionable’ entering pregame warmups. An earlier report listed him as doubtful to suit up and play.
Wisconsin and USC will kick off at 3:30 p.m. ET, 2:30 p.m. CT. The game will be broadcast on CBS and Paramount+.
