Deion Sanders brings primetime to home state of Florida in Week 5

Deion Sanders makes anytime Prime time, and Colorado at Central Florida could be the best game of the week in the Big 12.

The Big 12’s must watch game of the week features the Colorado Buffaloes vs. the UCF Knights, kicking off at 3:30 PM ET on Fox.

Coach Deion Sanders is very familiar and comfortable in the limelight, and he looks to make headway recruiting his home state while also making a mark in his first year in the Big 12.

Across the field, UCF’s Gus Malzahn is looking to build on momentum from an off-season of recruiting success and Big 12 fervor in Orlando. And, as reported by Buffswire, lots of folks in Orlando are talking about Coach Prime.

I’m not sure what it would take to pull Deion out of a key timeslot on a major network, but right now Prime & Sons Co. heads to undefeated UCF after a dramatic overtime win in Boulder that you had to see to believe. Coach Prime’s son, quarterback Shedeur Sanders, threw a fifty-yard Hail Mary touchdown pass to LaJohntay Wester to force overtime and the Buffs rode the momentum to knock off the Baylor Bears.

They say styles make fights, and the Buffaloes and Knights find different ways to do it… but both programs can score in bunches.

This is the must watch game in the Big 12 because it has the stars you know and the ones you will know soon. The Buffs’ Sanders and two-way star Travis Hunter are each looking to solidify their cases to be NFL first round draft picks in the spring. The position Hunter will play in the NFL is up for grabs, but the WR/DB will be snagging footballs out of the air on Sundays soon.

UCF has explosive stars of their own, quarterback KJ Jefferson and running back RJ Harvey, but the Knights are known for keeping the ball on the ground. This game is sure to make explosive highlights, both teams are coming off of wins at the wire, and both hope to find ways to float to the top of the Big 12 Conference.

Parker’s Pick: UCF. The Knights had enough time to celebrate the fun win two weeks ago and prepare for this one due to their bye week.
