This past Sunday, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers had their worst showing in recent memory against a winless Denver Broncos team. The team came out flat, never looked motivated, and what was labeled a trap game became just that.
For Bucs head coach Todd Bowles, it is a performance that isn’t worth dwelling on.
“We’ve got another game to prepare for. We’ve got to get ready to go after we watch the tape and correct everything.”
Bowles has been around the NFL long enough that he knows no singular game or performance is worth overthinking. Just like a bad decision on the field, another play follows. In the NFL, there is another game against another team looking to make you look bad a week later.
The Philadelphia Eagles will be motivated coming into the game, and Bowles knows that based on his comments. If they dwell on the Broncos game, they will go from undefeated to 2-2 in just 14 days. Every win out of the division matters in what is expected to be a competitive NFC South.
