The Atlanta Falcons don’t generally open the roof at Mercedes-Benz Stadium unless it’s a special occasion, however, Sunday night’s matchup against the Kanas City Chiefs meets the requirements. The defending Super Bowl champions are 2-0 this season and will look to stay undefeated when they come to Atlanta in Week 3.
The Falcons defeated the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football thanks to a highly improbable fourth-quarter comeback orchestrated by Kirk Cousins and the offense. Now, the team must attempt to win back-to-back games with the entire country watching (including the Swifties).
With all that pressure, Atlanta could probably use some air. According to the Mercedes-Benz Stadium social media account, the Falcons will drop the stadium top for Week 3.

The Falcons are currently three-point underdogs entering Sunday’s game, but they should at least have health on their side. The Chiefs just placed star running back Isiah Pacheco on the injured reserve list. Plus, the team’s top free-agent addition, wide receiver Marquise Brown, will miss the entire season after undergoing shoulder surgery.
Sunday night’s matchup kicks off at 8:20 p.m. ET inside a roofless Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Don’t forget to get your free hot dogs!
