Commanders’ injury report: Three out on Wednesday, several limited

The Bengals could have some depth issues at defensive tackle in Week 3.

The Washington Commanders started preparations Thursday for their Week 3 Monday night showdown against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Defensive end Clelin Ferrell was a new addition to the injury report with a knee injury. Ferrell has Washington’s only two sacks this season.

Rookie defensive tackle Johnny Newton played 12 snaps in Week 2 and is on pace to play more against the Bengals. The Commanders continue not to push Newton too hard after two offseason foot surgeries.

Cornerback Emmanuel Forbes looks like he’ll miss at least one more game after undergoing thumb surgery.
