College football appears to be more open than in the past decade, with no clear team predicted to maintain the No. 1 spot for most of the season.
After Texas A&M beat Florida, they re-entered the Top 25 in the No. 25 spot. The game was considered a toss-up, but the Aggies won dominantly.
It also confirmed that head coach Mike Elko and Collin Klein have two starting-caliber quarterbacks in Conner Weigman and Marcel Reed. Both still need more reps, but in the limited time, both have shown traits for competing in the SEC
This weekend, A&M will host the Bowling Green Falcons. While not a football juggernaut, the Falcons are a well-balanced team on offense that can present some issues for the Aggie defense. Even with that being said, the Maroon & White shouldn’t have too much trouble this weekend, with Coach Elko making sure his team takes no games off.

As you can see, Texas A&M is the overwhelming favorite heading into the weekend, and they should pick up their second win of the season. They can jump a spot or two in the Top 25 poll if they look good in that win.
